I had this passed to my by a friend today. It basically converts between unicode character numbers, UTF-8, UTF-16 and Numeric Character References (hex and decimal) (and a few more).

It even converts invisible characters aswell, so just cut and paste from an application like word and see the conversion. You can find it at
